    Teams will solve clues, complete challenges, and travel the course until the end. The top 3 teams who complete the course in the least amount of time win a prize! Dr. Seuss themed costumes are encouraged. Prizes will be awarded!

    Join us in the 20th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 9:30am - 1:00pm at the Flint Hills Mall located at 1632 Industrial Road, Emporia, KS 66801. Children will have the opportunity to get their teddy bear (or other stuffed animal of choice) examined in a 'clinical' setting as well as take part in a number of activities that local businesses have to offer.

  5. Autism Awareness Walk

    April 8, 2017, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM @ Emporia High School Track

    The event is being put on my the Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative's Tertiary Support Interdisciplinary Team and the EHS Circle of Friends. The purpose of the walk is to support, advocate and raise awareness for the diverse needs of the autism community. Aside from walking, several community organizations will have booths to disperse information regarding services and supports available for individuals on the spectrum and their families. There will also be fun sensory friendly activities for all!
