It’s simple: Read six books, visit the six locations in downtown Emporia listed on the passport, and turn in your passport for a prize and to be entered into a drawing for a grand prize at the end of summer!

    Learn more about the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) and how the KLC leadership principles are equipping people to lead all over the state! Access the Your Leadership Edge website at the library for free. Participate in group video chats lead by KLC instructors throughout the summer. Check out a copy of “Your Leadership Edge” by Ed O’Malley and Amanda Cebula. Ask at the public service desk on the 2nd floor about how you can participate in the Your Leadership Edge library program and be eligible for prizes!

  5. Printmaking

    June 23, 2017, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Emporia Arts Center

    Grades 9-12 & Adults. In this two-part class, students will learn how to transfer a drawing onto a linoleum block and then learn which material to cut away and which material to keep in order to make a successful print. It's a little harder than you think, but so fun! A run of prints will be pulled on the second day of class. Bring your ideas!
